BPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
The aspirants who are willing to apply for the AP posts in the Bihar govt can check their eligibility below.
Education Details
The BPSC organization has invited applications for the Assis Professor posts from doctors who have MD/MS/DNB degrees from MCI-approved colleges/schools/universities. The degree should be in a specific specialty.
Age Limit
The category-wise age for the BPSC AP posts is given down.
- For GEN Doctors- 18- 45 Years
- For OBC Doctors- 18- 48 Years
- For SC/ST Doctors- 18- 50 Years
- For Ex-Serviceman Doctors- 18- 67 Years
Application Fee
- For GEN/OBC/EWS doctors- RS 100
- For SC/ST doctors- Rs 25
- For Female doctors- Rs 25
- Rs 200 will be the biometric fee for every doctor
Selection Process
The assistant professors in the BPSC organization will be hired based on the following criteria.
- Academic Records– 10 marks for MD/MS, 10 marks for PhD/DM/MCh, and 10 marks for Work experience.
- Interview– 06 marks for interview.

Pay Scale
The selected aspirants for the AP posts in the Bihar govt will be provided with the salary benefits as follows.
- The pay Scale will be Rs 15600- 39100
- The Grade Pay will be Rs 6600
- The salary will be in Pay Level 11.
