UGC NET 2024 Exam Format
The examination format for the UGC NET June 2024 exam is given below.
- Paper I: The UGC NET exam will have two papers, in the first paper, there will be 50 questions for 10 marks. The questions will be on the subjects of teaching and research aptitude. The purpose of paper 1 is to test a person’s reasoning, comprehension, and general awareness.
- Paper II: The UGC NET second paper will be 100 questions worth marks 200. The second paper will have questions from the subject knowledge.
- Exam Mode: Now, the UGC NET exam will be organized as a CBT-based paper and there will be no gap between paper 1 and paper 2.
- Languages: The language of paper 1 and paper 2 will be available in English and Hindi, the student can choose the language for each question in which he wants to read the question.
- Marking Scheme: The UGC NET examination does not have negative marking and the student will get 2 marks for one right answer.
